What does the SWAT Colors (vest patch) mean to you?
To me, being a part of SWAT means that I am now bonded with other women who share the same passion for riding. It's a sisterhood and an extended family for me.
What is your first Motorcycling memory?
My first Motorcycling memory was as a young child. I rode as a passenger on my father's cruiser. I loved it (even though my mother had a fit).
What is your most embarrassing Motorcycling memory?
Hmmm...I would say that would have to be this year at Myrtle Beach. I was put on "blast" by a more experienced rider for not moving when he moved in a public setting with other riders present (which I didn't know). Although he was absolutely correct in what he said it was an embarrassing moment for me nonetheless.
And, Finally what advice would you give to a novice rider and/or future prospective member of SWAT?
My advice would be to always look out for each other. You need to feel confident with the bike you choose to ride and you should ride as often as possible and try to avoid riding alone.
