What does the SWAT Colors (vest patch) mean to you?

The SWAT Colors to me means Unity and Sisterhood!

What is your first Motorcycling memory?

My first riding memory is flying down country roads, while riding with my cousin when I was 8 or 9.

What is your most embarrassing Motorcycling memory?

My most embarrassing motorcycling memory was when I had been riding for a couple weeks when I decided to ride to work for the first time.  I was trying to make a left turn in a major intersection.  While waiting for oncoming traffic to pass I crept out farther than I meant to. So when I finally got a chance to turn I fixated on the curb and you guessed it, up into the grass I went.  I was pleasantly surprised that my bike handled the curb and I actually made my turn it was just that I was now bumping along in the median.  So I did what any normal person would do, I turned on my blinker and merged back into traffic.  Needless to say people were looking at me like I was crazy.

And, Finally what advice would you give to a novice rider and/or future prospective member of SWAT?

The biggest piece of advice I would give a novice rider is to ride your ride.  No two riders are the same so you should never try to ride like someone else.  Only you know your skill and comfort levels.  Other than that, take the MSF course and practice in your neighborhood or a parking lot before going on the open road.
